$6.00/hr For SIUC researchers, the maximum annual charge for instrument use is capped at $20,000. However, free use of the instrumentation above that limit must make reasonable allowances for access by other users.For facility personnel to perform instrument operation, an additional $20.00/hr is charged, but only for the actual time setting up data acquisition and processing the results, not for significant data acquisition time in between.
Rates for Private Sector Clients
These rates apply to work performed by the NMR Facility for private concerns and to NMR data supplied to private concerns via consulting and/or other arrangements outside the normal grant/contract agreements that fall within the Board of Trustees’ academic freedom guidelines.
These rates, available on request, are designed to be attractive without giving unfair competition to private-sector providers.
