Configuring the User VNMRJ Interface
Because of software adjustments, it will sometimes be necessary for the users to reset the appearance of their vnmrJ displays. These are the simple steps to use:
- Pull down the bar at the top of the diplay that says "Exp:1 Seq:info Index:1" so that a command window and command history area appear.
- Pull the directory tree display a bit.
- Pull up on the workspace box to make it smaller.
- Pull up on the button menu to reveal the study queue and the submit button.
- Left click and hold button L1 until it beeps to save Layout 1.
- Click the left arrow on the spectrum display area, then click the down arrow so that the spectrum display takes up your whole vnmrJ screen.
- Left click button L2 until it beeps. You now have two layouts you can toggle between.
Configuring New Accounts
Select Utilities.
- Select System Settings. The gradient amplifier should be turned ON and the wysiwyg box should be unchecked under the display/plot tab.
- OK
- Select Save Data Setup.
- Under Study Directory, select Private, place cursor after /export/home/yourname/vnmrsys/data and press enter.
- Select Studyname template.
- Fill in $solvent$_$samplename$_ and hit return. Save template as sample.
- Select Filename template.
- Fill in $studyid$/data/$notebook$_$page$_ and hit return. Save as notebook&page.
- OK
- Select Printers and click OK.
Your NMR environment should now be ready for you. Configure the interface displays as above if you have not done so.
